The Hans Foundation (THF), with the project goal of providing people in remote areas access to quality health services and thereby improving their overall well-being, is operating mobile medical units (MMUs) across ten states of India. The assessment was to ascertain the overall quality of MMU services provided and to assess the satisfaction level of the beneficiaries of the THF-MMU project. Professionalism of MMUs’ staff, as well as their ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy during patients’ consultations, was rated high by the users of MMU services, as well as observed by CMS researchers.
