Our work is driven by a deep belief in evidence-based insights and strategic communication that can catalyse positive social and environmental transformation.
Our unwavering focus on innovation in both research and communication continues to set us apart. We blend traditional and new media, community engagement, and policy dialogues to ensure that knowledge is not only generated—but translated into meaningful action.
As one of the founding members of CMS in 1991, it is a matter of immense pride to have witnessed its evolution and contribution to strengthening democratic values, policy development, institution building, and amplifying community agency.
Guided by the vision of Equitable Development and Good Governance, CMS today addresses a wide spectrum of critical issues through five core focus area: Sustainable Development; Environmental Stewardship; Accountable Governance; Responsible Media; Social & Behaviour Change.
In addition to our experienced and multidisciplinary research team, CMS is proud to have a dedicated Initiatives team. This dynamic team drives innovative solutions for planetary well-being—leveraging communication technologies, strengthening institutional capacities, and curating collaborative, transformative engagements.
