Brief about the project: Jan Shikshan Sansthans (JSS) are primarily non-formal vocational educational institutions for adults. The study evaluated the quality and content of the various vocational and skill development programmes undertaken by JSS, its relevance and impact in improving the occupational and technical knowledge of the beneficiaries. Further the study critically examines the administrative and financial aspects of JSS for the last three years.
