Road Safety is a global public health problem. More than a million people die each year on the world’s roads, over 3,000 die each day, and tens of millions more are injured. Current trends suggest that by 2030, road traffic deaths will become the fifth leading cause of death worldwide unless urgent action is taken.
CMS speaks at various forums on issues ranging from environmental concerns to HIV/ AIDS, Broadcast Bill to election analysis, Right to Information to corruption studies. Its critical research is regularly referred by policymakers, media and corporates.
