This is a repertoire of rare films, including award-winning films from Vatavaran 2003 and also from 2002. Vatavaran Travels began rolling its wheels ! in the last week of November 2004 CPR Environment Education Centre partnered with CMS to host the Chennai Vatavaran and Sanctuary Asia hosted the Mumbai Vatavaran in the first week of December 2004. In the New Year Salim Ali Centre for Natural Heritage Hosted the Kovai Vatavaran in Coimbatore.

In February this year, Vatavaran award winning films also participated in ' Quest for Life : Wild life Film Festival 2005' organized by Aranyak and Forest Department, Govt. of West Bengal. The festival is also traveling to Assam from 13-17 February 2005. Kaziranga Vatavaran, is being held in Guwahati and Kaziranga, as part of the celebrations of Kaziranga Centenary. The Film Festival is a collaborative effort of Department of Environment and forest, CMS and Gauhati Cine Club.
