The site hosts an interactive map section, resource section, and education section and regulation section. The site also facilitates online search on environmental issues.

The site links the publication section, reports & case studies, media section and fact sheet. It also has a donation section. The site holds the ordering form for all these materials. The site overcomes the language barrier by providing access in French language also.

The Indigenous Environmental Network is an alliance of grassroots indigenous peoples whose mission is to protect the sacredness of Mother Earth from contamination and exploitation by strengthening maintaining and respecting the traditional teachings and the natural laws. The site has a maintained list of the campaigns organized by the organization in the field of energy & its various technologies; water conservation & preservation and environmental law. The site links to the alert section, news section, event section and other related institutions.

Northwatch is the regional coalition of environmental and citizen organizations and individual members in northeastern Ontario. Northwatch has as priority issues that are of a regional nature: energy use, generation and conservation; forest conservation and wild areas protection and waste management. Northwatch is currently working to improve forest management, promote community involvement in mine monitoring and management, and prevent northeastern Ontario from becoming the receiving ground for foreign wastes, including Toronto's garbage, Ontario's biomedical waste, Canada's nuclear reactor fuel waste, and PCB's from around the world.

The website basically focuses on four program areas – oceans and sustainable fishing, forests and wild lands, climate change and clean energy. This site provides information about the research program initiative Sustainable Use of Biodiversity (SUB), at Canada's International

Development Research Centre (IDRC). By linking all the parties involved in the research process, IDRC hopes to add to the likelihood of success.
