CMS ENVIS Centre has identified 17 best video programmes to make a communication
package.
All the selected best Hindi/English Audio-Visual programmes
are available with the Ministry of Environment & Forests. Beta-cam
and U-matic formats of these video programmes have been categorised, based
on environmental issues. The communication package will be made available
to all ENVIS Centres, TV channels and other NGO's upon request. For

The audio-visual programmes were reviewed based on the content and overall quality of the
programmes. Parameters such as content, presentation style, technical quality (quality of footage and audio), relevance of data in the present context, viewer-friendliness etc. were
considered to review the programmes. CMS ENVIS Centre has selected 17 best programmes for further use.
The exercise of selecting best video programmes involved the review of
the 82 video-cassettes available with the Ministry and select relevant/useful
video programmes. The proposed communication package will include categorisation
of selected good films with subject categories.
